Information we collect
When you request an estimate, we collect the information you provide, such as your name, phone number, email address, property street address, city, project ZIP code, property relationship, project type, approximate fence length, material preferences, timing, and project notes. Our website may also receive AI-assistant conversation content after you accept its disclosure, plus basic technical and attribution information such as the referring page, advertising campaign parameters, and an advertising click identifier.
How we use information
We use this information to review your project, determine whether it fits our current service area and project requirements, respond to your request, arrange estimates, maintain lead and customer records, measure advertising performance, protect the website from misuse, and operate and improve our services. AI-assistant conversations are used to answer project questions, collect missing intake details, and prepare follow-up; the assistant does not set final prices or confirm appointments.
Service providers and records
Information may be processed by providers that help us host the website, operate the AI assistant, maintain our lead records and calendar, deliver communications, prevent abuse, and measure advertising and website usage. We limit this sharing to what is reasonably needed for those business functions. Some records may be retained for follow-up, customer service, security, legal, and business-record needs.
Advertising and website measurement
We may use Google Ads conversion measurement and Google Analytics 4 to understand website visits and interactions, and whether an advertisement led to an estimate request or phone call. These technologies may receive browser, device, IP-address, page-interaction, consent-state, and advertising-attribution information. We configure the site not to intentionally send estimate-form contact fields to Google Analytics. All measurement consent signals are denied by default. If you choose Allow measurement, you permit analytics and advertising measurement storage and limited advertising-attribution data to be sent to Google; personalized advertising remains disabled. If you decline, those measurement storage signals remain denied. You can change your choice through Measurement choices in the site footer. Your choices
The estimate form asks for permission to call or email you about your request. It does not enroll you in text messages. SMS requires separate, optional permission, and you can decline texts while still requesting an estimate or purchasing our services. You may ask us to stop follow-up or ask about your submitted information using the contact details below. Browser and Google account settings may also provide controls for cookies and personalized advertising.
SMS communications
If you opt in to SMS communications from Post & Rail Fence, message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of future messages or HELP for help. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing goods or services. Our SMS permission guide explains the separate choice and how to withdraw it. Staff record the number, your permission decision, when it was received, and the evidence of that decision in your customer record. We do not infer SMS permission from an estimate request, a call-intake confirmation, or a prior business relationship.
Mobile numbers, SMS opt-in information, and messaging consent are not sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. We may provide limited mobile information to communications providers and other service providers only as needed to deliver requested messages, operate the service, prevent abuse, or comply with law.
